I have been using these knives for a year and not going to change them for anything else. No need to sharpen them – I simply correct the blade with butcher’s sharpener and my knives are keen as a razor again! Steel does not wear out virtually and keeps the sharpening perfectly well. In the beginning it was unusual that Samura knives do not need to be constantly honed. It saves you time and effort. Yet another advantage is that food does not get stuck in the joints – the knife is easy to wash.
